I love cars and the dream cruise always amazes me. What people can do with cars. I heard one guy say that he has about 100,000 dollars invested in a 36 Ford Roadster rumble seat and all. Enjoyed the read. MW

What great cars & trucks. It was great to really "ride" in my first Woodward Dream Cruise! I spent ~2.5 hours going down and then up Woodward. Not fun sitting in the heat and traffic, but I got to see some really cool cars. I'm glad you were able to post some of them. Bro, --Ron

When I was younger and in a place where I had more time, I went to many car shows... My favorite was the 442, how could it not be? But then, I have a friend in Delaware that owns a 69 silver Chevy SS stick shift, she is a beauty. My step father owns an old Jimmy Truck, I believe its a 1956. He taught me how to change the heads and do the brakes and when my ex bought a 1969 Buick Electra I went with him and helped knock the ball joints loose, you should have seen the sailors faces when I asked for a ball joint separator. What fun, what fun that was!

Wonderful photographs!

I don't miss cruising (cruisers suck), but I do miss the motor city and all of its glories.

How's it going? Been down in Hot Springs AK, doing what I got to do. 100 degree days are great, bars stayng open until 5am even better... but the chiggers and ticks are murder. Already been bit by a brown recluse. It withered my left calf and I'm still hobbled, but not too, bad. Limps give ya character.

Gotta say, the cops down here make the cops up there look like Hospitalars and Saints. I know, I work for one of the biggest purchaser of cop power in this city. And I? Trying to DJ and enroll at U of A Fayetteville. Wish me luck!

Slowly making my way around to a few folks. I'm in a DJ booth (my only source of internet) announcing drink specials, so it's hectic trying to keep up right now. But soon... And maybe I'll even post!

Peace out

Funny, it reminded me a lot of when I used to live in the outsides of Los Angeles, once a month there was an exhibition where cars where shown, that looked so much like the one that you are showing here. It got me nostalgic.

Bye bye

The director of "Ocean of Pearls" responded to my email; I posted it at Motor City Burning Press. If you get a chance to see this movie, please do -- YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! Check out the trailer at MCBP too!

I'm glad Detroit has this event. It is always car/people watching fun.

I want to see the movie, the closest to me is the Landmark. I see it is not getting wide play.
