JR!!!! You were VERY sexy and still is as a young boy!! And you can play the kitaar and the piano???? You shocked me!! WOW!!!! I am VERY impress and yes they don't do music like they use to. Thank you very much in sharing this LOVELY moment of history in your life.
Jim, I remember our Rock Video fame when we were younger. Also, great songs of the 80's!!!! Let's never forget the past and move forward to the future!!! --Bro, Ron
Nice way to end your blog. "Locomotive Breath." Jethro Tull. The lyric is appropriate. In the howling silence...catches angels as they fall, and the all time winner... has got him by the balls...Enjoyed the blog. It was entertaining. MW :D
Cheap Trick, The Doors, Jethro Tull ... They Rock, You Rock, Let's ALL Rock. Salute to your 1 year anniversary and may more come down the road. --MR. ROCKER
Not bad. We didn't have home video back then. Was that 8MM? or very early VHS or Beta? By the way, I won't be writing about "Why Bloggers Quit" and hope you don't.
My "dirty old lady" came out and I found your youthful self very sexy. I love to look at the young boys! That was a fun video. We must be around the same age.
I have a sweet Les Paul, a strat and a loud as hell mesa boogie. We gotta jam!
Considering we were able to share classtime with excellent stories and all, music would be easy. It is a nice advantage to be a writer who has already been involved with an artistic entity such as a band. In a band, you put everything in you on the line and hope you don't screw up bad enough to get caught. You play for some glad people, a lot of indifferent people and the occasional "hostiles". But you almost always play the best when its for friends. That was always my experience with bands and music,
Now I just play the blues very loud so my SCS neighbors can appreciate SRV, Hendrix, Zep, BB and Clapton. It's been five years now, not one police incident and many many who stop in front of my house to listen, letting their dogs crap on my lawn and waving like they don't know what's going on...
Ahhh, music and it entrancing quallities. See you around and great writing.
Thanks for the moral support at m's tonight. I lost my head earlier at the Spell trying to break that little bastard. I was out of class for the day--from WSU and blogger-socializing. I guess some people are crazier than I and that kid proved it. Keep writing to the blog. I shouldn't be going anyplace. I bet you've got story ideas already.
Totally cool, so what? I get here and you are finishing your blog? You ahve got to go on mate! I just read back a few posts and my, your life is a wonderful book for real :) This music, I love it. I couldn;t have done better myself, what, with my deodorant bottle in hand at the same age as you are there belting out a tune jumping on my bed, LOL.

WOW...You were a rock star AND A BABE!...
Where has our youth gone. I noticed the most the sparkle in your eyes during the Surrender song.
I played the piano too...at church and for talent shows...not nearly with the finesse' and aptitude that you did.
WHO KNEW...that our JR was such a hidden talent!
Thanks for sharing that. And...judging from your post...a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND BLOGAVERSARY is in order. I made my first year in January.
Keep it up...and keep those memories close...good stuff :)

Pretty good, I'd say. You did Angus Young pretty well.
You may be short, but you sure stood tall having that bit of fun.
good 365th post but isn't this a leap year or last year or something so don't you owe your readers one more?
ACDC kick ass.
Congrats on keeping the blog going all of this time.
Have a great weekend.
JR
I just wanted to thank you for such an entertaining and funny blog, (and obviously the work that goes into that!)
Have really enjoyed reading your posts, an amazing life and stories.
Your pictures (and I don't know if it's been intended) have been hilarious, you are one very funny person. The camera loves you, plain and simple.
The you tube movie is great, I think you really made it, meaning you are such fun and full of life.
Great stuff JR, will never forget you.
All the best.
Pam

Short people got no business blogging anyway.

Hey, Angus Young,
You quittin' writin' all around?
Josie, over on my blog said she's sad to hear you don't even want to comment at my place anymore.
Just because we bite sometimes is no reason to run away. :)
Ivan
I never would have thought. You dark horse (very brave of you)
So it's really true then. So sorry. You're a fine and interesting writer and person, and the rock video is great!!

I loved the energy of the high schoolers when I was in junior high. That was pretty cool. You've still got that energy manifest in this blog.
